I can’t even begin to describe how proud I am of my daughter for graduating from college. Not only did she just graduate from college, but she did it in just three years (thanks to the full year of college credit that she earned while she was still in high school). As I was sitting down prior to her graduation ceremony, I thought back to my own days in college. Although those days were many years ago, I remember just how hard it was to balance all of the things that come along with college life. In addition to the academic load that college puts on your shoulders, you also have to learn how to be an adult and do things on your own. Judging by the quality of person that my daughter has always been and continues to be, I think she mastered this aspect of college just as well as she mastered the academics.
To show her how proud I was of her for graduating from college, I decided that I wanted to get her something really special. After discussing it with my wife, we decided to buy her a car. While she has had a car, I knew she wanted a newer one, and I feel like she more than earned it. Therefore, I bought a beautiful rental car for her. The great thing about buying a rental car is I am able to give her a vehicle that I know she will love while having the peace of mind that she will be safe in it wherever she goes.
