Until about three months ago, I had actually never realized that it was possible to buy a rental car. However, when I began telling my friends that I was planning to sell my car and wanted to buy a car with better gas mileage, one of my friends (who happens to work for Hertz) told me that I should consider buying a rental car. A Hertz sales representative contacted me, and the next day I took a test drive. Two days later, I bought the Hertz rental car, and I have been enjoying a great ride and better gas mileage ever since!
